PROCESS OF PREPARATION
AND
SUBMISSION OF PROJECT REPORT
v Students to
be divided into
groups of four.
v Each student (in a
group) is given a sub-topic from
every subject.
v Each group
to submit only one project report.
v The students should continuously discuss with the teacher and prepare a draft
before finalizing the
project report.
v The file
is to be made using the coloured sheets from the scrap book.
v The coloured sheets to be used for
each subject
will be as follows:
Ø English – White
Ø Maths – Sky Blue
Ø S. Sc
– Yellow
Ø Hindi – Light Green
Ø Social
Studies – Light Pink
v The project
report
to be handwritten and
credit will be awarded
to original drawings,
illustrations and
creative use of
materials.
v The project report
to be developed and presented in the
following order:
Ø Cover
page showing
1) Project title
2) Group
information (Name of students, Roll. nos.,
Std., and Div.)
3) Name
of the school and the year
Ø Acknowledgements (acknowledging the
institution, offices and
libraries visited and
persons who have helped)
Ø Graphic Organizer sheet
showing integration of subjects (attached in the folder)
Ø List of
contents (index
sheet attached in the folder)
v The sheets should be stapled and the project report to be presented in a neatly bound
simple folder.
(Note: Teacher may ask students to use punching machine and tie the
sheets using ribbon/ spiral bind.)
v Presentation to be taken
by
the respective subject teacher in her
scheduled class/
period.
v One representative from each
group to present the project report.
v Marks to be
given using the following
criteria:
Ø Content
Ø Accuracy
Ø Timely
submission
Ø Collaborative
learning
Ø Presentation
Ø Speaking skills (English, Hindi)
(Note: Subject and grade specific
rubrics are given in individual files attached in the folder.)
Important:
The purpose of Project Work is to
enable the learners to apply and extend classroom learning to life outside the
school.
‘Buying a
car: Take your happiness on a long
ride’ is
the theme chosen for grade VIII students.
The detailed work is attached wherein procedure, description and rubric for the
integrated project have been made clear. All the necessary instructions for the
integrated project will be given to the learners’ prior hand.
Explain the project topic to the
students before they initiate the project.
